During the opening at Transnatural gallery, Olivier van Herpt's ceramic 3D printer was linked to the visitor's music or body. The heartbeat or music determined the texture of the sculpture being printed. The experiment is a collaboration between sound designer Ricky van Broekhoven and designer Olivier van Herpt. The collection of sculptures shaped by sound grew during the exhibition period. In a presentation at the Rijksmuseum, the installation was linked to the live performance of Eefje de Visser.
The work Holon by the design duo MartensVisser explored the storage of light, reflection of light, the transformation of shape and color. The sculpture consists of curved rapidly rotating slats on a vertical axis, making the object resemble a liquid bubble that continuously changes shape.
The Children of the Light opened the exhibition with the Reflector Suits performance. The artists' stay within the crowd setting produces a reflective play between light, body, fashion and graphic design. Last but not least, Arnout Meijer showed his light designs Every Cone, Every Torus, Every Cylinder Light in which light reflection on and inside material leads to floating light 3D forms.
