The Cipher artworks fuse narrative storytelling with scientific analysis visualizing complex systems. Through bespoke data-paintings, encapsulating these narratives in a tangible and visual form that engages both intellect and emotion. The Data becomes the paint, the algorithm the brush, and the system itself the artist.
Sonic measurements in deep-sea areas, life cycles of wind turbines or scientifically measured color transformations are subjects in various Cipher works. Using micropatterned various thin and thick layers of paint textures, the experience of the painting becomes a visually and sensory strong engagement from various angles.
