Drawing inspiration from the motion of windmills cutting through wood, Merel Karhof has developed a unique technique that leaves flowing trails of blue oxidation on oak surfaces.The first design, the Airfoil table shows deep, blue gradients as the result of controlled oxidation on wood, a sophisticated, sustainable printing process.

Its base, reminiscent of contemporary windmill blades, elegantly supports the tabletop. A protective bio hard wax finish completes the piece.
